Majidis Co-Founder along with his wife of the Loulou Foundation which is dedicated to advancing research into the understanding and development of therapeutics for CDKL5 deficiency disorder, a rare neuro-genetic disorder causing seizures and developmental delays which affects their eldest daughter Alia, now 7 years old. Heworks in the oil and gas business as the CEO of Crescent Petroleum which operates in the Middle East, having previously worked for Shell International in Europe. Majid is also a supporter of initiatives in the field of education and tackling youth unemployment and sits on various non-profit boards including the Board of Fellows of Harvard Medical Schoolwhere he co-chairs the Discovery Council, and is also a member of the Academy of the University of Pennsylvania, the Advisory Board of Cambridge University Children’s Research Hospital Project, and the Global Precision Medicine Council of the World Economic Forum.
He holds engineering degrees from Cambridge University in England and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
