Sebastian Pacios became Senior Vice President and President, Clinical Research, on October 1, 2023.
He previously served as President of Clinical Development Services within our Clinical Research business, which was formed through the acquisition of PPD in December 2021. In that role, Sebastian was responsible for all aspects of Phase 1-III clinical development operations, as well as peri- and post-approval development programs.
Sebastian joined PPD in 2008 and served in several senior leadership roles in the company’s Clinical Development business, including Operations Services, Global Project Management and the Clinical Development business in EMEA. From 2018 to 2021, he served as Senior Vice President, Clinical Development, Global Project Delivery. Before joining PPD, he was Vice President of Operations, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa, for PRA International, now part of ICON, a clinical research organization.
Sebastian earned a medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He is a member of the National Association of Physicians in Spain.
