Krishna joined SAI in 2004 as Head of Business Development and helped establish the client base and develop the business strategy. He moved to the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2007 and eventually took over as Chief Executive Officer in 2008. In the last seven years SAI has grown from a company starting with 30 employees to the current level of over 1,100 and has evolved into a fully integrated discovery and development CRO.
Prior to SAI Krishna joined Sprint as a member of their management development program and played roles of increasing responsibility in the corporate finance, product development and M&A departments. He joined Telmex in 1999 as Senior Director Finance and transitioned to the role as head of strategy for the US.
Krishna Kanumuri is an MBA in finance and has an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.
