As Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Technology, Clyde Thomas leverages his extensive hands on experience in information technologies and payment processing systems management, including systems development, network design, project management, and computer operations.

Thomas brings with him over two decades of experience that has powered the technological efforts for several companies. As an expert in the technology industry, Thomas will help lead eFunds’ technology strategy and direction from the ground up. He is instrumental in furthering the Company’s strategic relationships with new and existing technology partners and will help continue to drive the eFunds product roadmap.

Prior to joining eFunds, Thomas was Chief Technology Officer at Clareon, a software provider of electronic business payment solutions, and previously a member of the Wright Express management team from 1987 to 1998, where he was instrumental in the design and implementation of innovative and proprietary processing and business management systems.

Thomas’ previous experience includes positions as Director of Product Development and Computer Operations for a division of American Airlines, and Business Systems Analyst and point-of-sale project manager for Gulf Oil Corporation.

Thomas is an active participant in a number of professional organizations, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Maine Software Developers Association, Xerox Corporation's Executive Advisory Board and the University of New England's Technology Advisory Board. Thomas currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona.
